Prayer-Mental Not Judgmental

God does not want us to be judgmental; He wants us to be prayer-mental. Have you judged others based on their appearance, their lifestyle, or their habits? Do you have your own ranking system of sin (God doesn’t) thinking that you’re better than others because you’re not doing all the things they are doing? The consequences of sin may vary, but in God’s eyes all sin is still sin. The next time you are tempted to judge someone, ask God to help you see that person the way He sees them – someone Christ died for. Let’s spend less time shouting at the darkness and more time shining our light! Let’s be the sweet aroma of Jesus to everyone around us. As instinctively as we have judged people, we should pray for them instead. God wants us to be moved by compassion, not condemnation.
