Making an Impact in Marriages

North Valley Family & Friends,

I want to share another encouraging story of a couple within our church, Julie and Joe. This couple has been attending North Valley over the past few years, and recently, Julie has noticed a shift in her husband. 

Joe would occasionally attend services, but would primarily attend with Julie on big event days or holiday weekends. One weekend he overheard people talking about the Weekend to Remember marriage conference and decided he would surprise Julie and register them. Julie will be the first to tell you that God has changed their marriage through North Valley and that conference. Joe now asks what time they're going to church, attends community group, and is quick to jump in to help wherever needed at church. 

Julie said, "It is everything a wife would want is to have your husband spiritually lead, but I had to stop trying to change him. It had to be God's hands on our marriage. Don't ever give up on your marriage! Literally, let go and let God do His magic."
