Truck Team Information

Thank you so much for being willing to be a part of our Truck or Treat event, October 29 from 6-8 pm! All vehicles must be registered to participate. Please note: All trunk participants are responsible for the setup and breakdown of their own vehicles. All decorations and trash must be removed after the event. We will have prizes for the best trunk decoration! Each truck will be numbered and participants will be able to vote for their favorite car when they arrive.

Here are answers to Frequently Asked Questions to help make the evening a success.

What time do we arrive to set up our trunks?

A. Trunk set up is from 5:00-5:30 pm. We need all trunks set up and ready to go by 5:30 pm. Trunks that arrive after 5:30 pm will not be allowed into the lot.

Can I come early to set up our trunks?

A. Cars can arrive as early as 4:30 pm. Please do not arrive before that time as we will not be ready to receive you.

Can I leave early?

A. No. For safety reasons, we need to have all trucks in place until 8 pm.

*At least one adult will need to be present at the trunk for the entirety of the event for safety reasons. We suggest four adults per car trunk so that you can take shifts to hand out candy and enjoying the event.

Can we decorate and plan trunks as a group? Will we be able to park together?

A. Short answer, yes! If you are part of a group that would like to be together, please indicate that on the sign-up form. In addition, plan to arrive early and let the parking team know how many stops you and your group will need.

What if I have large props? Can I take an extra parking spot?

A. If you will need an extra spot, please let us know on the sign-up form.

Do I need to bring candy to hand out?

A. Yes, please!!! We are asking each truck to bring a minimum of 100 pieces of candy (pre-wrapped & sealed) to hand out. You can pass out other 'treats' like pencils, bracelets, bookmarks, stickers, bouncy balls, fake tattoos, etc. The church is collecting candy donations and we will distribute these to our trucks as needed, but please plan on having a good supply on hand to start with.

Can my trunk be scary? Can I play scary music?

A. When choosing how to decorate your car, please keep in mind there will be young children attending this event, and err on the side of caution.

Will there be access to electrical?

A. Unfortunately, no. All trunks will have to be self-sufficient with their decorations, set up, and tear down.
