Living at Peace in an Anxious World - Part 2: Keep Courage in the Crisis
Scripture: Daniel 2:1–2:49
Courage is not the absence of fear, but the presence of courageous faith. Daniel was a wise man and advisor for king Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel sought God for help in interpreting the king’s dream and once he understood it, Daniel he gave God the credit for the interpretation. Daniel did not withhold the truth when he told king Nebuchadnezzar that he would face opposition from 4 different kingdoms. He also asked for compassion for the others who failed to interpret the dream. We face many crises in life and we need to be confident in God’s promises. We also need to show compassion for others, seek Godly counsel for help and remember the credit always goes to God. We need to set an example of courageous faith in the midst of crisis.
