Day 1 – God Used Them To Make You!

“Honor your father and mother” this is the first commandment with a promise.

Ephesians 6:2, ESV

When the Bible says, to honor your father and mother! You may ask why? There are several reasons, but to answer the question for those that have a bad Dad or Mom, that may not be worthy of honor, it’s important to realize the simple truth that God used them to make you! For that, you can thank God and thank them for making you! God used your father’s DNA, and your mother’s DNA to handcraft you. Psalms 139:14 says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made! 

At conception, you received DNA from both the father and mother, a genetic coding that comes with generations upon generations of genetic information that determines your skin color, eye color, your physical, emotional, mental characteristics, and health. Each child is made unique; each child has a unique identity. 

You have a unique fingerprint, thumbprint, handprint, voice print, footprint, and now you have a unique digital print footprint, which helps companies follow your tracks by reviewing blog posts, Facebook posts, online spending patterns, etc.

While your parents may not have planned you, God planned you, and purposed you!  You were created in Christ Jesus for Good works! (Ephesians 2:10)

There are no accident children. God never messes up! (Romans 8:28) Each child is a gift from God (Psalm 127:3); this is why mothering is so sacred, and it’s so important to honor them!
